Dave, I am in Texas and was so sorry to learned of Sue's passing. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God's Blessings
From Tom Stowers

The blessing was all ours in knowing Sue and having her "adopt" us into the Eber family fold. She embodies all that is good and that matters in life: humility, selflessness, kindness and a genuine love for others. Sue, what a gift. Deepest sympathies to Dave and her family, whom we hold close in our lives.
From The Timmons family

We express our deepest sympathy to your family. I had the pleasure of working with Sue many years ago at Gundersen-Lutheran. She was the most positive person I've ever met and could brighten your day just by being around her. The world has truly lost a beautiful, special person!

Sue Eber was and will always be in a class by herself. Absolutely one of the nicest individuals one could ever hope to meet. I had the pleasure of knowing her through her amazing children--who clearly carry on her legacy of kindness and compassion. My condolences the family.

Our sympathy to you on the loss of Sue. I don't remember her well, but Lois & Betty do. It's always hard to lose a loved one, even if they have an illness that you know they won't recover from. Hold your memories close & know that she'll be watching over you. (Eldora is our 1st cousin & Tom has always fit into our extended family so well -- our prayers go out to you) Donna

All I can say is "Wow - what a lady!" We sang together in the Gundersen "Choir" and Sue always made people laugh - the best medicine for anyone when you might be feeling sorry for yourself. My sympathy to her family.

To my Dear Friend, we talked many times about life and dieing-suffering and how we wanted it to be. You died in the manner you wanted and now you are having the funeral you wanted. I am so sad. You were such a dear friend and I so look forward to seeing you again. Peace to your Dave, your children and your precious grandchildren.

I was a classmate throughout High School. Susan was a kind beautiful girl and such a bright involved student. One of the best things that happened to me as a senior was, my locker was right next to hers. She was always very kind to me. God bless her jusband and family.

You will likely receive hundreds of these messages, so here is one more heartfelt tribute to your beautiful wife, mom, grandmother, and friend. It was my privilege to work with Sue when I was one of the first social workers "allowed" in the Trauma and Emergency Center of Gundersen. Sue welcomed my colleagues and me with open arms and heart; she championed our worth and our work and when we had room to learn, she taught. Her attitude was always one of courage, grace, and generous love for all who crossed her path. She was gentle but firm with patients and could draw a line in the sand with anyone who was out of line in the often tumultuous world of the TEC. I admired her, enjoyed her, and will always miss her. It was an honor and a blessing to know and work with her.God bless her sweet heart!

I was privileged to grow up in the neighborhood with the Larsons, Balmers, Maus, and others who came to visit for fun and games! Wonderful memories of a wonderful childhood in a town I still love. My sympathies to the family on your loss of Susan. Darlene (Fuhre) Walberg
