To live in the hearts and minds of those we leave behind

Let us help get you started

Condolences for

To Eleanor's family. May the following poem be of comfort to you as it was to me when my mother passed away. God looked around his garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered “Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone… For part of us went with you The day God called you home. Author: D. W. To Eleanor's family: I had the pleasure of working with Eleanor at the Onalaska Care Center, and know she really cared about the residents she cared for. I know this may be a difficult time, but hope you have many good memories to share with each other. When I worked with her, I remember how if I did something to help her out, she always did something for me. She stayed upbeat even when we would be short staffed, and she had a good pace for a lady 34 years older than me, and always she had a listening ear for me. God bless Eleanor, and the family left behind.
