From Marie Hammes

My thoughts and prayers are with you Elvern and all your family in the loss of Orin. He was such a good and kind person. I thought of him as "The Ever Ready Bunny" in that he was always working and active. He kept going and going and never seemed his age. May you find peace in all the memories you shared.

From Nancy Olson

Our sincere condolences to a man we loved deeply. Orin was part of our family that always brought joy to all of us. Our boys consider him one of their grandpa's and Jim and I dad. He was a gentle soul that gave always from his heart. He loved life and he lived it that way. He was a teacher to my boys, lived in the moments, was kind, caring and giving unconditionally to others. He also had the secret of living life through the eyes of a child. Between making toys out of wood for our boys, biking, riding the tractor or sitting in the fishing boat in the driveway pretending he was fishing with my boys or teaching them, as they got older how to throw knives, playing Domino's or watching the movie,"Camp Cucamonda" with all of us endless times. We will miss Orin but know one day we will be united together again in heaven. Love you Orin.
