To live in the hearts and minds of those we leave behind

Let us help get you started

Condolences for

I worked with John for his entire 22 year career with United Fire and Casualty and it was a pleasure. He was the best of the best as a professional Property and Casualty Claims Representative and as a friend. His sense of humor was second to none and disarming. He was 80 years old, but, always young in his thoughts and doing what he wanted to do. There weren't many days in his 55 years married to Vickie that he didn't keep Vickie laughing. He was bigger than life and he will be a part of all of our lives the rest of our life. Our prayers and thoughts are with Vickie and the family. Bob and Gerda De Camp

My sister Jean was married to John's brother Richard. I always felt that Rich was my older brother, and not brother in law. After Rich's passing, that feeling carried over to John. They were, after all, very much alike. Interested in history, sports, and politics, not necessarily in that order! Always fun to be around. They definitely had good judgement when they picked their life partners. I will miss them both unconditionally. Regretfully, I will not be able to attend Fridays service. I am leaving for a Marine reunion in San Diego today. After that My son Bill is picking me up and driving me up to LA for a visit with his family. I will be thinking of you all as you gather to celebrate John's life. Hugs from us. Bill and Kay
