Condolences for

Bernice and family, we want to express our sincere condolences to you. LeRoy was always such a jokester and always kept you on your toes. I never had him as a bus driver but sure did enjoy the interactions with him when he worked at Boots and Kenny's Service Station and, later, when I would come back to Eitzen for visits.

Dear Bernice & Family: I will always remember the fun loving bus driver we were lucky enough to have for us. LeRoy was always a happy go lucky guy and he passed that on to all he met, his smile and laugh lit up a room. He will be missed and remembered by many. This world was lucky to have him and I was lucky to know him. Condolences to all, may you fine peace in his wonderful memories. Carlene Deters Denton

To Bernice and family, As a fellow "Eitzen kid", I do have fond memories of LeRoy. In our two room school, if any mischief was going on, LeRoy was probably involved. All was in good fun and with that big smile on his face. You all have your own wonderful memories too--savor them. I send my condolences.

It seems like just yesterday that I was sitting on your lap as a kid and you were telling me a story. You never failed to make me laugh and put me in a better mood; you truly were a pro at bringing joy to others Leroy. I can't believe that I won't be able to see that signature Leroy smile ever again, but it pains me even more that I won't be able to hear the name "Snacks" ever again; however, I'm guessing that you are cracking jokes to the big man upstairs right now, and I know he's laughing hysterically. The first time we can remember meeting LeRoy and Bernice was while serving coffee at bingo many years ago. They were both very friendly and LeRoy always teased us and made us laugh! We soon learned that we knew many of LeRoy's grandchildren as well as his brother Bob and Marlene. Each time we saw LeRoy, he would leave us with a big smile! Our grandpa Oren was very fond of LeRoy as well. They met just recently at Tweeten Lutheran,and often had lunch together. LeRoy's family has been in our prayers and we are thinking of all of you during this difficult time. We will always remember his kindness and humor. Our deepest sympathy - Anne and Beth

What a baseball player LeRoy was! He could hit those balls all the way to Winnebago Valley. Bernice and all, my warmest thoughts and memories of LeRoy and your wonderful family. LeRoy was so outgoing in his personality and caring for all of us. He'll be truly missed.

Sorry to hear you had to say good-bye to LeRoy. May good memories, family and friends help ease your sorrow. His great smile and humor will remain with us all.
