Dear friends, I just wanted to reach out and express our sincere condolences over the loss of your mother. Difficult timing so close to the loss of Wally. We'll really miss them both. I look across the street at your old house and it never fails to remind me of the days when it was sort of a central station for friends and family, and more friends and family. Now that we've all moved on, I really miss the days when someone was always there to stop and visit with. Toward the end it was usually just your mom, (some times with a Hazel Christiansen bonus package!). Seems like just yesterday the old neighborhood was just getting to know you guys, (and Runty and Tippy). I really miss the old neighborhood anchor that you guys provided. Times have sure changed. Alas,so goes the story, the passage of time just is what it is. Good thing we'll never die! We are thinking of you all in these changing times. Your friends and neighbors, Scott & Maggie.

Aunt Anna has been in my thoughts along with all of your family. What fun Dave and I had visiting with her in Viroqua over the past few years. She had such fun telling us old stories. What a memory she had wish I could have visited more with her. Our hope is you will cherish those memories. Cuz Bobbi

Rita, my thoughts and prayers are with you. For my parents 50th anniversary I added up all the ages of everyone that was born because they married. How many years of living are there because your parents married? May you find God's peace in your heart especially through these storms. Love, Carol

To the family of Ann Mashak-I am so sorry that you have lost your mom and your dad is such a short time-I have so many memories of all of you and your folks too and the many hours I spent in your home growing up....it was the best-all the different people in and out of your house! Last time I visited with Ann we talked about all the fun Rita and I had together....and a couple of very memorable times where Ann sat in her chair waiting for us to show up and yes-busted us for some trouble we had gotten ourselves in-we had a good laugh about it! I will miss her and am so grateful to have been blessed with her presence in my life- You are truely a unique and wonderful family! I love you all! Lori

I am so sorry for your loss. There are many times that we think about something that "Granny Annie" said or did while we where catering and we laugh until we cry. As I got older I also had the pleasure of socializing with the "Miller Babes" this included carving our names into the Mindoro Cut. What WONDERFUL MEMORIES, I will cherish them forever! May you all find comfort in knowing that she will never be forgotten!! Hugs to all of you!
