Let us help get you started

Condolences for

Sherri and Allison, Our hearts and prayers go out to you in this time of grief. If there is anything we can do, please do not hesitate to let us know.
From Loren and Louise Gerould

The Petras family has my sincere sympathy in their tragic losses of Paul and A.J. I had visited May's photo several times in recent months and had been so impressed by the Petrases. They were all so warm and kindhearted. I went through a tragic personal loss myself a few years ago and my heart now goes out to the surviving Petras family members. May God give you strength to weather this tragedy.

Sherri & Allison, MaryAnn, Marylin and Dorothy: It's hard to make a writer at a loss for words, but know you are in my prayers. Andy and Dorothy mentored me as I pursued a career in photography (Winona Daily News). I was in the Winona store almost daily and recall when Paul started coming up with his parents. I watched him grow up. I always thought Andy was a little over indulgent toward Paul, but Paul worked as hard as he played. In the days of film (and that's two syllables) May's Photo was a hub in Winona's photography needs. Paul continued that tradition and adapted as the magic of photography moved from black and white in the darkroom, color processing and now digital. He was a warm and friendly person. I didn't know AJ, but wouldn't be surprised if he didn't treat his son the same as his father did to him. May you all be comforted by the joy he got in life and the joy he gave others through his friendship and helping people in the region discover their own joy of life through photography.

I worked with Allison when she lived in Madison. I am very sorry to hear about her father Paul and brother AJ. This will be a tough time for Allison and her mother. May Allsion's father and brother find peace. I am so sorry.
