To live in the hearts and minds of those we leave behind

Let us help get you started

Condolences for

I knew Jer Pedretti from our days at St. Mary's, when we were students, 1958-62. I remember how his smile lit up his face, his bright mind and wit, and his joy of life. We shared stories of our early years of teaching, he at St. George High and I at St. Joseph High School. I am very sad at his passing so young, but happy to know he was with his beloved family. I will miss him greatly, but know he is still with us, smiling and full of joy. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Joe Fischer jcfischer@nl.edu

I am sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Pedretti as a math teacher for several classes at CHS. He was a wonderful teacher, with a great and unique sense of humor.

Mr. Pedretti was by far one of the best teachers I had at CHS. It is because of him that I love math to this day. He was the embodiment of what a great teacher should be - challenging but understanding, demanding of his students yet nurturing them at all times. His dry humor was unmatched. Rest in peace, Mr. Pedretti.

I know that family and friends will miss Mr. Pedretti to no end. He touched so many lives in his career at CHS. I remember hearing about him growing up as others' teacher and knew I had made it when I was able to be in his class. He taught me to love geometry -- to this day, geometry is my favorite subject to teach each year. His family and friends will be in my prayers.

Dear Stephanie & Aimee, I think fondly of you and your parents every time I drive by your former house on Highland Ave. Your father was an exceptional teacher, and I felt fortunate to have him not only for algebra but for homeroom. I also remember when your dad lived on N. 10th next to my grandmother's home. It was sad to see his obituary in our paper, but at the same time, I was thankful to read more about his life. Please accept my sympathy. God bless, Sara McCollum-Natale Cambridge, OH

Fond memories of days gone by, kids playing together, dinners with lots of wine, school discussions and union issues! We know he touched many lives and he will be missed greatly.

My sympathies to the family. Many fond and fun memories of Mr Pedretti at CHS, as a student in his class and then as a co-worker while substitute teaching - thoroughly enjoyed conversations in the teacher's lounge with him. He was truly a unique individual.
