Condolences for

MY SYNYATHIES TO THE KNUDTSON FAMILY FOR THE LOSS OF BROTHER LYLE. ALSO TO LYLE'S FAMILY. SUCH MEMORY I HAVE OF LYLE AT THE CELEBRATIONS WHILE WE WERE GROWING UP. LYLE'S MOTHER AND MY MOTHER WERE SISTERS, WE WERE COUSINS. REST IN PEACE, LYLE.

I remember as a youg girl the Knutson picnics. I am the daughter of Chester and Winnie Knutson. I now live in Arkansas after moving around quite a bit with my husband of 53 years, Henry. We have two grown sons and families. I read the La X Trib online once in a great while. After reading this many names came back to me and I remember the farms and showers. They all seem ed so far out in the country from La Crosse. My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones. My sister Karen Knutson Sullivan lives in Michigan.

Sorry to hear about Lyle. I remember him at the Knudtson picnics, as he was a 1st cousin of my dad, Orville Knutson. Lyle's dad, Alvin, and my Gramma Mabel were brother and sister. They always had so much fun talking and playing cards at those picnics and other gatherings. Thinking of his family in this time of sorrow.

I have fond memories of many good times spent with Uncle Lyle at Knudson get-togethers and later when visiting La Crosse. Uncle Lyle had the Best sense of humor! My heart goes out to Kevin, Kris, Marty, and other family members during this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with thenm and I wish I could be there for the memorial service.
