To live in the hearts and minds of those we leave behind

Let us help get you started

Condolences for

Your Dad was terrific. I remember him as our cub scout den leader--he always had fun stuff for us to both learn, and to do. One time, our den had to demonstrate a science project for the whole pack. Phil taught us that raisins would initially sink when placed in a glass of 7up, but after a minute or so, the effervescence (bubbles) would cling to each raisin causing them to rise to the surface. Well, that was the project that we demonstrated--which I think was more about us wanting to drink some pop vs. the science. I was always amazed that he could take us almost anywhere on anyone's property in the country for hikes etc..everyone knew him and was friendly (well, I later learned that was because he had a relationship with most of the dairy farmers from his work). In later years, I would see him at church when I visited, and he was always friendly--keeping me up to date on Chopper. We need more people lke your Dad (Grandpa, Greatgrandpa etc.)

Phil will be missed in the Eye Dept at MCHS-La Crosse! His positive attitude and smile were contagious. It is great to know that his eyesight has now been eternally restored!!
