To live in the hearts and minds of those we leave behind

Let us help get you started

Condolences for

My Sympathy to you all for your loss. Cleora was a great help to me as I began my teaching career in Fennimore, 27 years ago. Her classroom was a warm and inviting place for children to learn. She instilled in children their manners, citizenship, and a love of learning, with grace and compassion. She touched many lives and her legacy lives on through those students and their children. It was always a joy to see her at the Black Angus in Prairie du Chien after she retired we had wonderful chats and reminisces.

Dear Jim, Fred, and Julia, Cleora was a special friend and co worker at the Fennimore Elem School. She was so proud of you and Julia was such a joy in her life. She will be missed by many.

Jim and Fred - I knew your mother when she was a resident at Hearten House. My mother was also a resident. I so enjoyed visiting with her. She always offered my daughters a piece of candy and loved to chat with them. I could see and feel her love for children. She was such a kind soul! I know she is healthy and happy again in Heaven.

We were all saddened to hear of Cleora's passing. Your sweet mother was well liked by all of us. Personally, I enjoyed getting to know Cleora and was so happy that she was interested and participated in many of my activities at The Willows, often times giving me needed support and positive feedback. We were all blessed to have Cleora in our lives. We send our heart-felt condolences.

Jim & Fred and family I am sorry to hear about your mother. I always enjoyed running into her, when she and Arlene Heer would be out in Fennimore. Your mother was one of the last neighborhood moms. I know that Mrs. Moen is still in her home. My she rest in peace your long time Friend Maxine

I was the elementary physical education teacher at Fennimore for many years and was able to work with Cleora. I was impressed with her as a teacher as she always got the most out of her students. They knew she really cared about them and wanted to do their best for her. I was sad to hear of her passing and you have my sympathy. Please know that Cleora touched many young lives and I'm sure many of them owe her a dept of gratitude for keeping them on track in school. Cleora and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jim and family, and Fred, We saw your mother's obit in the WI State Journal yesterday and wanted to extend our sympathy to you all. We of course remember the Wauzeka days with your family. My wife, Barb (Straka) remembers your mother being her 5th grade teacher, and I remember those days as well. I think I have a picture of me standing next to your mom on a field trip to the zoo in Prairie. Since both Barb and I are retired teachers now, we also remember running into your mom at meetings over the years and always enjoyed those times. Please accept our sympathy and remember the roots from the past are always strong ones. With sympathy, Gary and Barb Hazen
