To live in the hearts and minds of those we leave behind

Let us help get you started

Condolences for

I was saddened to learn that my friend and former coworker Karen Jostad has lost her dad. By all accounts, he was a true Minnesota patriot whose life was a blessing to many. He nicely illustrates why the World War II veterans are today considered the Greatest Generation. May his memory live long, and bring peace to all those who mourn him.

Karen and Cherryl- I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during what I know is a very difficult time for you. Glen was a very special man. I loved your mother and dad and will always remember the great time that Ron, your folks and I had in Monte Carlo. I just got home from the hospital last night (Monday. I regret not being able to attend Glen's funeral and be with both of you. We will stay "in touch". Hold onto the memories. I saw the article in the Star and Trib Obituaries, very nice salute to your dad.

Cherryl and Karen: We were saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. He was an icon for our generation, so calm, dignified and thoughtful. We will miss him, as we know you will, too. Our thanks to you, and to Becky and Jane, for keeping us aware of how he was doing. The last month and a half have been hard for you both. But we all have such wonderful memories of your family. Know that you are all in our prayers. With sincerest sympathy from our family to yours. Sam and Lucille Vance and children

Karen and Cherryl, I am saddened to hear of your loss. Your dad was a wonderful, kind man with a depth of spirt and strength which I grew to admire even more upon learning of his war experiences. When seeing him out and about, he always warmly greeted me and asked how I was/what I was doing now. Cherryl, one thing he frequently mentioned (with a smile) was your grade-school slumber party. What patience he showed with our antics and incessant playing of Beatles tunes that night! May memories of your dad give you peace at this difficult time! Michelle

Sincerest condolences to Cherryl & Karen. Glen was dear to me and I "adopted" him as my 2nd father. We became instant friends when paired up as travel companions in England & Europe's battle fields of WWII. I will miss his phone calls and our reunions through the VFW. My prayers are with you all. Dear Cherryl and Karen, I was deeply saddended when I heard of your father's passing (Cherryl was kind enough to call me). In just the short amount of time that I was blessed to become acquainted with him, I could tell what a special individual his was. There was such a genuine warmth to him. I will take the time to think about him and how he made such an impression on me in such a short period of time. I am glad our paths crossed. Please know that you are all in my thoughts & prayers.
