Dear Sally, Bud and Paul: My condolences on the passing of your Mother. Verna and Mom were good friends and I remember the ladies sitting around the kitchen table laughing with Belle and Cordy and Edna when we were kids. I have made a donation to WAFER food bank in memory of your Mom. Anne

My aunt had almost 95 years of laughter and joy in her life and was a model for all of us to follow. I have so many letters that she wrote to me with news of the family and life in West Salem that always were a joy to read. Since I didn't live near her, it was a good way to get to know her and my grandparents that I never met as her letters were full of tales from the present and past. She was an aunt that always remembered to send a card on your birthday! She shared her hand made table coverings in fall or Holiday colors and I will keep them always as I will all of my other aunt's treasures. She had a full and busy life and could always be counted on for a great story with a good laugh. She had so many nieces and nephews but always knew the names of everyone's children and what they were doing with their life. She made you feel special! She will be missed by all.
