Gary and Joyce, We can not begin to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. Josh was a wonderful man and he will be miss very much by all who knew him! We cherish the times and memories that we had with him showing horses and just hanging out. Not a day will go by that we wont be reminded of him whether it is at a horse show, some funny saying that was shared between us or while we are in the field.
From Andrew and Sarah Stalhiem

Gary and Joyce I am so sorry for your incredible loss. I enjoyed everytime that Josh would come see me. He was a great man and will be missed by many.
From Amy Waggoner

We are very sorry for the loss of your son, Josh. I, Leon, met you, Gary, and your son, Josh recently. I was inquiring about buying timber in your area. I have also met Kevin Koss. My wife, Sarah, is Loraine Koss' granddaughter, so she came to Howard and Loraine's farm often in the 1970's-and rode horses with Kevin, Brian, and Todd. Please know that you and your families are in our hearts; thoughts; and prayers at this most difficult time. And peace to all of you.
From Leon and Sarah Kubitz

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. Such a tragedy that has happened that has taken away such a wonderful young man. We got to know Josh through Casey and Ryan Pfaff. Such a nice guy who always had a smile along with a wave or "hi". Words can not express how saddened we all are. Rest In Peace Josh. You will be sadly missed.

Joyce & Gary & Family, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in this very difficult time of loss. No words can say enough to help with the heaviness of heart in this time of grief and suffering. We loved Josh dearly and will cherish all the great memories we shared together. While the time was way too short; we certainly have many blessings to be thankful for - the wonderful and strong bond of freindship that developed working together and showing percheron horses afforded the three of us an awesome opportunity to live out our dream and love for horses and farming. Josh will forever be remembered for his great personality; always alot of fun to be around, strong work ethic, a natural horseman, and most of all a very special young man we have been blessed to call our dear friend and loved one. We will miss Josh more than words can express and hold this day our faith in the hope and confidence that Josh is in a better place now. During the 7 years I was at the Melrose-Mindoro High School, there were 3 or more Koss's, Danny Kirchner and Tom Storandt. The kids during my time there were wonderful - even 8th hr Study hall, which I supervised during those 7 years. It hurts to consider that you parents - the kids we loved as students and friends have now suffered so great a loss. Ron Knappen

My deepest sympathies to the Koss family. It is difficult to understand why a tragedy happens and my prayers for you are for God's peace to surround you. I also pray for strength and the loving arms of God to hold you tight over these next days, weeks and months. I will be praying for all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss. I'm so happy that I got to come home to the area for our ten year reunion and see Josh. I'm sorry that I can't come home at this time to pay my final respects to your family although I really do wish that I could. Josh was a good classmate and a great friend. Again I'm sorry for your loss and your family will be in my prayers during this difficult time.

My prayers are with Josh's family. We went to school together, and again he will be missed. He was a lot of fun to be around and our thought are definitely with his friends and family.
From Casie (Cottone) Fry

We are friends of Casie Fry and just found out about this death today. Although we did not know your loved one, we know that if they were related to Casie, they must be people of character, integrity, and moral uprightness. We are praying for your family to have strength to overcome this unimaginable loss. We have recently lost a 10 week old daughter, and our hearts are broken at the thought of losing your child and friend. Please know that Jesus is never far from those with broken hearts when they seek Him in prayer. Hold on to the hope given to each of us in Christ Jesus and you will see your loved ones again. There will be no pain, no loss, and no sorrow at that happy reunion, and we will meet and never part again. God bless you, David & Leah Stratton

There are not enough words to express how much Josh will be missed. He was a great friend and I am very greatful for the memories that I have of him and the days that we shared together. We all just have to remember that he is in a better place now; farming and driving horses with the man above.
