Condolences for

I was a friend of Rhonda's (one year older than she), and in the marching band with Kari (2 grades ahead of me), where we both played clarinet, and she set such a mature example of calmness and kindness as squad leader for me a freshmen, relieving my worry. They both touched my life in caring and sincere ways. (I believe we were also members of the same church then.) Now I learn/read more about who set them on such a positive course in life. When I drove by Blackhawk Lane last summer it was so good to see the Harris name on them mailbox still. The little and simple gestures of kindness can nourish and make up the best of who we are.
