Condolences for

Kevin, Lori and Family, We were so saddened to here of Alec's passing and want to extend our deepest sympathies to you. It's hard to comprehend the pain you must be going through. Also, so sorry we could not make it to the visitation/funeral services.

Alayna delivered the news to me about Alec with such a heavy heart. Alec was a good friend to Alayna through her elementary years. Every year it was the same 2 questions, who is your teacher and is Alec in your class. I always felt better that Alec was with her. Oh how Alayna would laugh, Mom- guess what color is Alec’s favorite?!? Pink!!! It’s Pink!!! Then later it was, guess what Alec did today? He tried to color his hair pink with a marker!!!!! Later I found a tuft of hair in her pocket, which was from Alec. It was his hair. Alec loved pink, cut chunks of his hair out, and dyed his hair with pink marker- all while making my daughter laugh harder than I had ever heard. Alec had the best sparkly eyes that spelled mischief and we loved him.

Alec was such a good buddy of mine for a long time. I look back fondly on all the time we shared, and it breaks my heart to know that he's no longer around. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to his family, especially Kevin and Lori, who were like second parents to me for much of my elementary and middle school years.
