Condolences for

Dearest Linda, I did not hear about your dear husband's passing or read it in Tribune. I am so very very sorry for this great loss and cross you now carry. I do wish I had known. You know I only use F.B. to journal and post pics when family and friends ask. I do not get notifications either. Linda, would you mind sending me your address? Text to 608 317 8650 if you text or email me please. Sandyjoyx5@yahoo.com My heart is heavy for you dear friend. I also didn't know Tom was ill. Please know I will pray for Toms soul and that God gives you the Grace needed to carry on. You hold a very special place in my heart Linda. I am so blessed to know you. God bless you Sandy

I am deeply saddened to hear of Tom's passing. Way back in 1977, Tom was my FTO (field training officer) on the Rockford Police Dept. He was both a guide and friend, who taught me the correct basics of surviving on the street. The world has lost a very good man. RIP Tom

I was Tom's last trainee on the Rockford Police Dept. Tom was very easy going and made the learning part of the job fun. We were both about the same size and Tom always insisted that we had his skate case between us. This skate case contained all of our paper work etc. which made it quite difficult to shut our doors on the patrol squad so one of us always had to turn sideways to get our doors shut. We had a lot of good laughs during my training period . The Rockford Police Dept lost a good Officer when Tom left. My deepest sympathies to the family. Rest In Peace Tom.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We have many fond memories of times spent with your family. Dave and Tom began their Burger King franchisee experiences at Whopper College in 1979. Through the years, they had hunting trips and many BK travels with the North Central group. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

What a lovely tribute to Tom. I will cherish my time I had with him when we lived in Illinois. He was a wonderful! Step Uncle. I will remember his smile 😃
