Mary Jo, please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. We never expect to have to bury our children but unfortunately life takes it's own path at times. Take comfort in God's saving grace and promise of everlasting life through His son Jesus. I've never had the opportunity to meet her but boy does she resemble you!!! That same Kiszka smile that lights up a room has strong genes. Take time to mourn and take time to celebrate the gift of 26 years you had with her. I'll be praying for God's peace to fill you and your family.

Regretfully I will not be able to attend the services for Alyssa. I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Alyssa at the Madison Buckle. I truly enjoyed working with Alyssa and I will miss her beautiful smile and her singing! She was a joy to be around. I am blessed to have known such an amazing spirit. Prayers of peace and strength and love to you all.

Jacob, John and Mary Jo, My heart aches for you all. What I remember most vividly about Alyssa is that huge smile. However, the minute she stepped on the mound, she was all business. That long ponytail just tickled me! The faster it wipped around when she turned her head, the more aggressive she threw. Jacob, you were always such a big supporter of her softball playing and never made her feel that she couldn't be feminine and a badass at the same time. Although, John, I think if any boy at the time had made her choose between softball or being a girlfriend, the decision would have been easy for her. Her senior picture has hung on the wall of every office and classroom I have occupied since I left Onalaska High. I tell my current pitchers stories about Snow. Mary Jo, our children make us parents, and there are a handful of players that make you a coach. Thank you for trusting me when it came to coaching your daughter. I am a better human having had her in my life.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss for your family. I was Alyssa’s sixth grade teacher as well as Christopher’s. I adored these two and think about them frequently. I met Alyssa again at the Rivoli and barely recognized her, but she still demonstrated her charm and outgoing personality. She was always such a delight. I am so glad she was part of my life during her middle school years.

Jeannie and I would like to extend our heartfelt prayers and sympathy to all the family. We, as parents should never have to lay to rest our children, yet when God needs angels in his kingdom of heaven, we reluctantly give up our dreams of legacy, here on earth, with the knowledge and comfort that our beautiful children will not be forgotten. Most Sincerely Jeff and Jeannie Nylander

Remembering Alyssa with always a smile on her face and very eager and ready for the next event at school. Very upbeat and always at her best. Sweet and kind to everyone. Also so close she was with her brother Chris who graduated with Joel. I, Donna remember seeing her and Jake walking hand in hand down hallway and being very respectful and loving to each other always. Jake graduated with Eve. So sorry and god bless her and her family from all of us.Mit3DU

Several years ago, my sister and I babysat for Alyssa and her brother, Christopher. On one such occasion, I remember finding her on top of the bathroom countertop, meowing... She was pretending she was a cat that had jumped up there.... That is the way I will remember her, as a little girl who playfully pretended she was a cat. Sorry very sorry for the loss of your beloved daughter, sister, and wife. You are in my prayers.
