Condolences for

I joined Gundersen as an ob-gyn in 1988- and learned so much from Erma! She was a great nurse and even better person. I have so many great memories of working with her; I am so sorry for your loss- she will be missed.

Erma was my head nurse on 3 Center at Lutheran Hospital in the mid '70's and was present in Labor & Delivery at the birth of our first child in 1981. She was a joy to work with and appreciated every thing I did as ward secretary. No matter how hectic the pace got, we handled everything together and in stride. I left to go back to school & would see her every once in a while when I worked part time on different units. It was always good to see her again! We rekindled our relationship when I was in labor with our first son...I appreciated everything she did for us in what was a mystery to my husband and me. I send prayers and condolences to you. Erma was a great blessing in my early life. God bless y'all!

I am so sorry to hear of Erma's passing. I enjoyed working with her in Labor and Delivery at Gundersen Lutheran many years ago. She was a good nurse. She was also very light hearted and made this work fun. I wish you all well. I'll keep her memory alive. Best wishes, Chuck Schauberger
