Obituary for Tre H. Ross

Tre Howard Ross, 8 years old, of West Salem, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, as a result of an infection from complications with cancer treatment. He had won a nine month battle with caner from which he was in remission. Tre was known for his sweet, gentle, and kind heart. He loved talking sports with dad, playing board games with mom, gardening with grandpa, baking with grandma, playing with his siblings and cousins, and waking his sister up early in the morning. Tre loved mini golf, waterparks, throwing rocks in the water, Spiderman, Antman, and math and science. He especially enjoyed learning about bugs and animals. Tre had a great sense of humor and loved to play pranks. He loved sports; especially the Green Bay Packers and Golden State Warriors. He was and always will be dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his parents, Tristan and Alyssa (Lawver) Ross; his sister, Alaina; his brother, Logan; paternal grandparents, Rick W. and Sabrina Cuellar-Ross; maternal grandparents, Kevin and Terri Lawver; paternal great-grandparents, Jose Luis Francisco Cuellar and Carmen de Cuellar; Walter and Virginia Bender, and Betty Ross; maternal great-grandparents, Shirley Ball and Dolly Lawver; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tre was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfather, Howard Ross and maternal great-grandfathers, Howard Lawver and Samuel Ball. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at Christ is Lord Church, 1269 PH Road, Onalaska. Dr. Wayne Vawter will officiate. A private burial will follow. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday both at Christ is Lord Church in Onalaska. Following the service, friends and family are invited to remain at the church for a time of fellowship to spend time remembering Tre and celebrate his beautiful life. Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Homes and Crematory, Jostad Chapel, West Salem, is in charge of arrangements.
