Obituary for Annemarie "Annie" Noel

Annemarie Noel 29, of West Salem passed away Wednesday July 4th at home. She was born September 30, 1988 in La Crosse to Jim and Julie (Caffrey) Noel. She graduated from West Salem High School in 2007. She attended UW-Stout in 2008 then transferred to Western Technical College in La Crosse, where she graduated in 2010 with a Graphic Design Degree and in 2012 with a Visual Communications Degree. Annie started working at Hansen’s IGA in West Salem right after graduating from high school until she moved to Manitowoc in 2015. She worked at Manitowoc Ice in customer service until she returned to West Salem due to her father being ill. Annie was currently employed by LHI in the Data Control Department. Wherever she worked she made friends and became part of a work family. Her sense of humor, kind, caring and respectful demeanor drew people to her. She watched out for her people, which made them want to watch over her. Annie packed up her car and moved to Manitowoc with only an apartment secured, needing to find work and not knowing a soul. She loved being near Lake Michigan as being by the water brought her much joy. Once she had a job at Manitowoc Ice and had her “peeps” at work she adopted a rescue dog named Jack. The joy he brought to her life can’t be measured. The love she gave him breathed new life into his saddened heart. He blossomed and she reveled in the love and fun he gave to her so freely. Annie was an amazing photographer and artist. She recently completed a graphic design job for a friend, where she created the business logo which is being used for the company’s signage. She enjoyed many genres of music and could tell you anything you wanted to know about sharks. Family was very important to Annie. She loved the road trips they took, which almost always resulted in a great tale to share with others. Annie is survived by her parents, Jim and Julie, sister Emily, and Jack. Uncles, aunts, and many cousins shared her life and brought her much joy. She was preceded by her maternal grandparents, George and Dee Caffrey and paternal grandparents, Bill and June Noel. Family and friends may call the Jandt Fredrickson Funeral Home, 4239 Mormon Coulee Road in La Crosse from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, July 10th 2018. A mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, July 11th 2018 at 11 am at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 210 W. Hamlin Street in West Salem. Father Douglas Robertson and Deacon Bob Zietlow will officiate. Friends call the church on Wednesday at 10 am until the time of the service. Burial will be at Hamilton Cemetery following the service. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
