Obituary for Rozann L. Vetsch


Rozann L. Vetsch, 66 of Caledonia passed away peacefully August 10, 2018, surrounded by family in her home. She was born January 14, 1952, in Rushford, Minn., to Henry and Doris (Walters) Quarve. Rozann was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend to many. Above all things, Rozann placed God and family first. She cherished her time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Rozann worked as a receptionist for many years working with Mayo Health System. Her hobbies included basket making and gardening. Rozann will be deeply missed and is survived by her husband Dale; and two children, Robert (Sandy) Vetsch and Jennifer (Kyle) Dulaney; six grandchildren, Connor (Makayla), Caleb, Carter, Cayden, Allie and Ben; her sister, Sharon Fisher, and three brothers, Gary (Shirley) Quarve, Leland Quarve, and Steve (Tracy) Quarve. Rozann was proceeded in death by her parents, Henry and Doris Quarve, father-in law and mother-in-law, Edward and Gladys Vetsch, brother-in-law, Roger (Sharon ) Fisher, brother-in -law and sister-in –law, Ed and Lois Sauer; and former son -in –law, Terry Schroeder. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2018, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 650 N. Kingston St., Caledonia. Rev. Jon Wolff will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4 p.m., until 7 p.m., Thursday, and from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service, Friday, both at the church. Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Homes and Crematory, Caledonia Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Thank you for your compassion and guiding us through this very difficult time. In lieu of flowers family will be placing a memorial towards Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) research the disease that took Rozann's life.
