Obituary for Randall Marvin Lee

Randall Marvin Lee, 76, of Waco, TX, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Brookdale Lake Brazos Assisted Living following a long illness. He was born on July 20, 1943 in West Salem, Wis. to Rudolph and Ragna (Johnson) Lee. He graduated with a degree in physics from the University of Wisconsin in 1964 and studied computer science at the University of Chicago. Randy enjoyed a long career specializing in information technology at several banks including Manufacturer's Hanover, Chemical Bank, Chase Manhattan, and JP Morgan. His last position had him living and working in Paris, France as an executive with AXA France, from which he retired in 2002. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife of 22 years, Virginia, who preceded him in death. Together they visited over 100 countries and all seven continents. Survivors include sons, William (Stacey) of New York, N.Y. and Kenneth of Milford, Conn.; granddaughters, Alexandria and Anastasia; two brothers, Russel (Sandra) of La Crosse, Wis. and Ryan (Debra) of Neenah, Wis.; sister-in-law, Donnetta of Onalaska, Wis.; the mother of his children, from whom he was divorced, Margaret of Monroe, Conn. and ex-wife Catherine of Hewitt, TX as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Virginia, Randall was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Stephanie and brother Ronald. Due to the coronavirus national emergency, funeral services will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in West Salem, Wis. at a date and time to be announced.
