From Jim Everson

Bob was such a rare and wonderful soul. How lucky we were to have him as a part of our lives. From mentor and colleague, to farmer's market staple, to pumpkin patch prince, Bob was a special part of our lives. Please accept our condolences on his passing, and know that we have many cherished memories of "Uncle Bob". God Bless. R.I.P. Bob.

Bob was a kind and generous spirit, with a twinkle in eyes. He was always doing something interesting. Like the time he took me set line fishing! Peace

I was saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. I met him when I came to LaCrosse and was his colleague at the SDLX. He introduced me to trout fishing the Leon Creek. Since moving from LaCrosse, I enjoyed the annual journey to visit Bob, Joann and Dan for the opening of the spring trout fishing season. I will most miss his wide, bright smile, his firm hand shake, and his laughter. Watching the Kentucky Derby with Joann was another highlight of the early May fishing opener. I look forward to reconnecting with her, Dan and the rest of Bob’s family on Saturday. My prayer today is one of thanks for calling Bob a friend. May the heavenly slot machines reward him handsomely for all the riches his life provided all of us. RIP Bob.

To Robert's family... So sorry for your loss... I got to know Bob when I worked with him at Longfellow Junior High from 1967-1969. We became friends and over the years after I left Longfellow, I would encounter him at farmers markets and just the last few years at the Produce Auction outside of Cashton. Always enjoyed our visits! Take care and God Bless!

Bob was living the life most of us wish to retire into. For that reason I have always enjoyed visiting with him and my Aunt Joann on their farm. Bob enjoyed talking about the different crops he and Danny were growing. They used to go to the farmers market twice a week, but slowed down as he got older. I will miss talking with Bob when visiting my home town. Our prayers are with Joann, Danny, Richard, Sherry and their families. God Bless
