I was shocked to read of John’s passing. Always enjoyed chitchats with him when he walked his dogs down on the prairie. I considered John a friend. He will be missed. Cathy I extend my sincere condolences to you.

John was such a joy to visit with when I would often see him out for a walk in Stoddard. The last time I had the privilege of speaking with John was the afternoon of October 21st, on the west end of Oak Ridge, to personally thank him, while representing the Stoddard American Legion, for assisting the Sheriff’s Honor Guard earlier that morning. With sympathy, Roy Torgerson

Always had a great time hunting with the guys. Lots of story telling and good and bad shots made. Lots of good laughs together. Always fun watching the dogs even when they didn't listen. Happy hunting John
