Condolences for Harold L. Topel

In Memory of your Dad, Harold Topel. I met him and Darlene since they were Godparents to my brother. I also met Harold numerous times when I was with Tony Lund out and about. I'm very sorry for your Loss. God Bless your family at this time. I met Becky a few times when I was with my dad and he mentioned you also about Guards. Dad and Harold were in The National Guards together and they went out with tony and La Vonne once in awhile. I'll miss him.

Debby, Becky, Kathy, & Families, I'm so sorry about your Dad. I remember him as a very kind man. No matter the circumstances, losing our parents is hard. Treasure the love you shared, & all of your wonderful memories. Thinking of all of you with deepest sympathy, Jane

Sorry for your loss. Tope was a family friend and part of the hunting gang at my dads cabin in Hatfield...those cherished hunting season memories will last forever...and of coarse the hunter safety rules were always posted on front of refrigerator. RIP Tope

I met Harold and Dar through my association with Tom and Becky Sawyer. Becky and I were coworkers and she along with Tom invited Liz, Megan, and I into their home and ultimately their family. As is common working for the Department of Defense a transitional lifestyle ensued and our families lived in California and Ohio so having the warmth of the Sawyers and Topels was so welcomed. We did everything with our new extended families like holiday celebrations, card playing competitions, birthday parties, and the coveted chicken and fish dinners at the American Legion. What a wonderful thing to be included with another family as stellar as the Sawyers and Topels. As we say goodbye to Harold his memory and kindness will surround us for here on out . Thank you Mr. Topel for including us into your life.

Sorry for your loss. I was one of the many young people who received hunter’s safety training from Mr. Topel. That was around the mid seventies at the YMCA. Tope was a dear friend to my Dad.
