Condolences for Lon R. Dessner

To the Dessner Family, Lori, Kyle, I'm so sorry for your loss. I haven’t had a chance to hang out with Lon recently but will still miss him. When I would run into him around town he always took the time to talk and ask how things are going. I remember when I helped Lon work on his race car and he had ordered parts from Whers Chevy. We went to the parts counter and Lon saw all the boxes and started peeling them open looking for his stuff. Then Barry walked in and said Hey what the hell are you doing, this isn't Christmas, you need to get on the other side of the counter. Lon reluctantly waited for Barry to go through the boxes and find his parts. Rest in Peace Lon!

I'm sorry to hear this bad news. Lon was always one of my favorites to be around, he had a really good energy and would always make the days so much fun. I have a lot of fond memories of him. And he will be truly missed by a lot of people. I love you lon.

To the Dessner Family: I am so sorry for your loss. Lon was a great guy and full of adventure. A few years back he came to Utah and looked us up. We had dinner and a nice chat that I remember well. Happy Trails Lon!
