we are so sorry in the passing of Marv. He was a very kind caring man. He also made the best brandy old fashion sweet. It takes a big heart and patience to be a social worker and that is what describes our friend Marv Love to the family

I am so sad to hear of Marc’s passing I worked with Marv at La Crosse County for about 17 years .Marv was funny and kind . He was a negotiator and always seemed to find the win- win in any work situation . He never let his title go to his head .I m not sure Marv ever had anyone who didn’t like him or respect him I have fond memories of many great LA Crosse County gatherings togethers with Marv and the County Family and Children's Departments . My deepest condolences to Marv and Kathleen’s family. I was heartbroken hearing the news. I lived next to them at 418 Garland and he would play ball with me in our yard all the time when I was a young girl. I loved bumping into them at Westview and reminiscing. I will miss them always. ❤️

I worked with Marv at La Crosse County for many years. He was my co-worker for a number of years and then my supervisor for a few years. Marv was a kind, compassionate, commonsense man, who was steady as a rock. He was a good listener and truly demonstrated servant leadership in his social work career. And he knew how to have fun too. I feel very fortunate to have known Marv. We will truly miss him. My condolences to his family. I know he valued family above all. Rest in Peace, Marv.
