Obituary for Ulamae C. "Mae" Langrehr


Ulamae C. "Mae" Langrehr, 91, of Bangor, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at her home. She was born November 21, 1929, in Dutch Creek, to Lester and Cora (Weinke) Knudtson. On October 19,1950, Mae married Harvey Langrehr at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Bangor and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2016. She enjoyed farming, being outdoors, mowing her lawn and picking up each and every stick that landed in her yard. Mae was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Bangor serving for many years with the ladies aide; she was also a member of the Burnham Valley Homemakers. Above all, Mae enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their various sporting events. Survivors include her children, Doug (Sharon) Langrehr, Deb (Rich) Nuttelman, Duane (Sandy) Langrehr, Dean (Dee) Langrehr, Don (Kathy) Langrehr, and Dawn (Kathy Hanson) Langrehr; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven sisters, two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Mae was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Scott Nuttelman; granddaughter, Zoe Langrehr; and great-granddaughter, Brooke Langrehr. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Bangor. Rev. Galen J. Riediger will officiate. Burial will follow in Burns Cemetery, rural Bangor. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service, Wednesday, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Bangor or the Bangor First Responders.
