Obituary for Hennessy Edith Zimmerman

Hennessy Edith Zimmerman, 3 year old daughter of Jordan Zimmerman and Charlene Vian, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born July 12, 2018 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Everyone who had the privilege of meeting Hennessy loved her from the moment they met her. She was filled with an unmeasurable amount of joy. If there were 10 people in a room and 9 of them were laughing she would always be able to make that 10th person smile. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three brothers, Bentley, Gage, and Sawyer; grandparents, Mark and Juanita Zimmerman and Bobby and Sue Hoffman; great-grandparents, Gerald and Barbara Zimmerman, Marion and John Schaller, and Beatrice Rhyme; uncle, Justin Zimmerman; aunt, Joleen Hauser; cousins, Landen, Kaylee, Eli, and Rosie; other relatives; and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Robert and Edith Hoffman and Donald Rhyme. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Bethany Free Church, 3936 Co. Rd., B., La Crosse, WI 54601. Pastor David Baxley will officiate. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service, Thursday, at the church. Hennessy always projected an aurora of love and joy; so to honor her memory, please wear anything pink, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, or Disney to her visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. No kid is as full of so much joy as you, peanut. You are strong. You are tough. You are beautiful. You are full of joy. You are so loving. You are so perfect. My sweet sweet girl, I cannot thank you enough for choosing me to be your momma. I love you so much baby. Please visit me every night when I’m sleeping. I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again. I can’t live without you, but knowing you are an angel now will hopefully give me some peace in time to come. I cannot tell you how much I love you baby. I will forever hear your voice telling me you love me too big, kiss my love, mommy loves you.”
