Obituary for Karen Jamesson

Karen Jamesson was called for peacefully by our Lord on April 5, 2022. Karen graduated from Logan High school and later returned there to work in the kitchen, and eventually retired from the school. She made many great friends while working there and remembered many students, maybe not by name, but certainly by what they ordered for lunch. She definitely made the best cinnamon toast ever for her future daughter-in-law, Jeanine. After graduation, Karen worked various jobs including Ray Hutson, and soon met James while out bowling. Karen and Jim were married for 55 years, and were the perfect pair, spending most of their free time together. They enjoyed bingo, playing cards, going on car rides, and watching years of adult softball, baseball and all sporting events their grandkids were involved in. Karen and Jim rarely missed a music program, choir concert, or sporting event that their kids or grandkids were in. Karen and Jim were truly part of any team they were supporting! Karen enjoyed cooking and baking, especially her famous chocolate cake. She also enjoyed teaching her granddaughter, Megan some of her recipes. Karen shared her wonderful cooking and baking talents at numerous church and family functions and school events over the years. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janice, and brother, Wayne. Karen is survived by her husband, Jim, her sons; Jay (Therisa), Eric (Jeanine) and Mark, her beloved grandkids; Damien, Evan and Megan, and of course the grand-dogs; Abby and Thor, Jax, and Tim and Pete. A service for her immediate family will be held in honor of Karen.
