Other interests included square dancing, volunteering at her church, singing in the choir, attending activities of her grandchildren when they were younger and gardening. She especially loved singing, and even in the late stages of Alzheimer’s when conversation was difficult, she remembered and sang her favorite gospel hymns and country music by Johnny Cash, Elvis and Alan Jackson.
