Obituary for Arlene Kay Elliott

Arlene Kay Elliott, 54, of West Salem, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born January 10, 1965, in La Crosse to Robert and Lois (Schomburg) Elliott. Arlene lived one year of her life at home getting spoiled by her family before her poor health caused her to live her life with professional caregivers who were very able, caring, and compassionate to her throughout her life. Survivor include her parents, Robert and Lois Elliott; two sisters, Laurie (Bruce) Hawkins and Roberta (Kevin) Johnson; one brother, David (Karen) Elliott; and many nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fritz and Myrtle Schomburg and her paternal grandparents, David and Lillian Elliott. A private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Neshonoc Cemetery. Pastors Stephanie M. Steiner and Larry Olson will officiate. Following the graveside service, a time of gathering with food and fellowship, open for all family and friends, will be from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of West Salem, 625 W. Franklin St. Memorials are preferred to the Presbyterian Church of West Salem and will be used toward the Church Community Dinners.
