Obituary for Judith Porter

She graduated from Patch Grove High School in 1959. Judie worked for Trane Company as a Receptionist/Secretary. She retired in August of 1997 with 35 years of service. She was a member of the 25 Year Club. In 1988 she married James M. Porter and they spent many wonderful years together. After retiring, Judie and Jim spent their winters in Ft. Meyers Beach, Fl for 6 years. They met many friends and enjoyed their time together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Porter, her father, (Thayne) and Mother, (Marian) Parker, and brother in law, Tom Mason.

She is survived by her son, Jeffry (Korina) Hampton and her daughter Lori (Jim) Sculati; four grandchildren, Abby (Andrew) Drought, Rachel Hampton and Elliott Bromagen, Amanda Hampton and Elizabeth Hampton. Three stepchildren, Michael (Deb) Porter, Thomas (Deb) Porter and Karen (Glenn) Gehrking; Several step grandchildren, Amanda (RJ) Erler, Nichole (Nick) Heilman, Thomas (Nichole) Porter, Elizabeth (David) Gevelinger, Jack Porter, Ashley Thompson with partner Jason Wooden, Patricia Seubert and Brian Thompson; and Step great grandchildren, Owen, Corbin, Monroe, Jeremy, Reese, Beau, Clay, Riker, Tek, Marli, and Julian. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Ellen Mason and brother, Thomas Alvin Parker and 5 nieces and their families.

A memorial service will be held at Fredrickson Funeral Home and Crematory, Woodruff Chapel, 4239 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse, Wi 54601 on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. A private burial will be held at a later time.
